    A STUDY ON URBAN SLOPE HAZARDS IN GUANGZHOU

    • 摘要: 广州经济高速发展,人口、资源和环境的矛盾日渐突出,地质环境日趋恶化,坡面地质灾害频繁发生,崩塌、滑坡和泥石流等造成巨大社会损失。活动断裂与褶皱是其地质构造基础,风化岩石与疏松地表是其物质来源,降水与地表径流是其动力条件,暴雨、洪水是其诱发因素。过量抽取地下水、地下工程修建、乱砍滥伐森林资源等不合理的人类活动,增加了地质环境的压力,破坏了生态平衡,成为重要的致灾因子。广州市坡面地质灾害近十年来呈波浪状上升态势,1998年以来尤为严重;空间上主要集中在老城区、广花盆地和低山丘陵区。

       

      Abstract: Economy of Guangzhou is developing rapidly, the contradictions among population, resource and environment are outstanding and the geological environment worsens day by day, the slope hazards frequently take place and seriously hinder the sustainable development of the city. Active faults are their structure foundation .The strong weathering surface provides them with material conditions. Rich precipitation and run-off are their power source. Torrential rain and flood are their important triggering factors. Human activity has resulted in the increased incidence and severity of slope hazards, such as collapse, landslide and debris flow. Man upsets the ecological balance and becomes important disaster causative factor. Slope ha zards in Guangzhou are more and more serious in the past ten years. There are two peak periods in 1996~1998 and 2000~2002. Regional distribution centers on the old town and basin mainly, spreading to surrounding hills.
