Abstract: Abstract: Over the last seventeen years, the Journal of Engineering Geology has gained a great growth. At present, the Journal has received good scores in various evaluation indices. The aim of this paper is to develop a clear strategy for the development of the Journal. Therefore, we have made a statistic assessment on the data and evaluation indices of the Journal in recent years. The results are reported in this paper. They can be used as a solid basis to further improve the quality of the Journal.
