    高庙子膨润土的吸湿性及结合水变化规律研究

    EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON HYDROSCOPICITY AND BOUND WATER OF GAOMIAOZI BENTONITE

    • 摘要: 膨润土易吸收空气中水分形成结合水。以高庙子膨润土为实验对象,研究了土样在不同烘干温度、烘干时间、环境相对湿度、土厚、表面积下的吸湿规律。研究结果表明:110℃烘干条件下,烘干8h,土样质量可达到稳定;增加接触面积,不会增加其吸湿率;吸湿量与初始烘干温度以及环境相对湿度正相关。土样吸湿存在深度效应,越下层的土样吸湿能力越弱。4mm深度以下土层对空气中水分子的吸附能力很弱,吸湿主要集中在上层。Peleg模型拟合吸湿过程较好。20g膨润土在110℃烘干,再置于相对湿度55%和82%环境下吸湿,2min时强结合水的吸收基本完成,受环境相对湿度的影响较小,吸湿平衡时自由水、弱结合水以及强结合水的含量分别为7.873%、0.749%、1.316%和9.408%、1.128%、1.412%,结合水膜厚度分别为5.56Å和7.71Å。

       

      Abstract: Moisture in the air can be absorped by bentonite readily. This paper studies the hygroscopicity of Gaomiaozi Na-bentonite under different conditions including drying temperatures, drying time, environmental relative humidites, thickness, and surface area. The results show that the mass of bentonite is stable after it has been dried at 110℃for 8hours. The final absorped moisture content does not increase with the surface area. There is depth effect in bentonite that the absorped moisture content decreases as the depth increases. The relationship of the absorped moisture content with time is fitted well by Peleg model. First, 20g bentonite is dried at 110℃. Then the dried bentonite is exposed in air with 55% and 82% relative humidity, respectively. The strongly bound water is absorped in 2 minutes, which indicates that the adsorption of bound water is less affected by relative humidity. The contents of free water, weakly bound water and strongly bound water are 7.873%, 0.749% and 1.316%, and 9.408%, 1.128%, 1.412%, respectively. And their water film thickness is 5.56Å and 7.71Å, respectively.
