四川磨西条形冰水台地地震动响应特性研究

    STUDY ON THE SEISMIC RESPONSE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MOXI ELONGATED ICE-WATER PLATFORM IN MOXI TOWN OF SICHUAN PROVINCE

    • 摘要: 四川磨西条形冰水台地东西缘在2022年9月5日泸定地震中发生大量崩滑灾害,造成惨重的人员伤亡和巨大的经济损失。研究条形冰水台地的震动响应特性及场地效应是揭示其震时堆积台地台缘崩滑灾害形成机制及分布规律的关键。基于2023年5月12日泸定县MS4.2级的实测地震动数据,先采用水平-垂直反应谱谱比法(HVRSR法)确定研究场地效应的参考点,再分别以重要持时D5~75、均方根加速度arms、连续小波变换、水平向阿里亚斯强度极化图研究地震动的时频域特征。研究结果表明:(1)相对于参考点-谷底基岩上2#监测点,台地东缘的3#监测点在震动幅值上表现出明显的地形放大效应,其次是雅家埂河左岸的1#点;(2)地震波在磨西台地内部传播时发生了散射,衍生出了其他频段的波;(3)磨西台地东缘在本次地震中发生了坡折地形放大效应、介质放大效应、堆积体选频效应等多种效应,这种复合效应本文称为冰水台地效应,磨西镇及类似场地的抗灾设防应考虑此效应潜在的危害。

       

      Abstract: On September 5,2022, the Luding Earthquake triggered numerous landslides along the eastern and western edges of the Moxi elongated ice-water terrace in Sichuan,causing severe casualties and substantial economic losses. Understanding the seismic response characteristics and site effects of this elongated terrace is essential for clarifying the mechanisms and spatial distribution of landslides along the edges of such accumulation platforms during earthquakes. Using seismic data from the May 12,2023, Luding County MS4.2 earthquake,we applied the horizontal-to-vertical response spectral ratio(HVSR)method to identify reference points for site-effect analysis. We then analyzed important duration(D5~75),root-mean-square acceleration(arms),continuous wavelet transforms,and horizontal polarization diagrams to examine time-domain and frequency-domain characteristics of the ground motion. The findings indicate: (1)Compared with the reference point(Monitoring Point 2 on valley bedrock),Monitoring Point 3 at the eastern edge of the terrace shows a pronounced topographic amplification effect in seismic amplitude,followed by Monitoring Point 1 on the left bank of the Yajiageng River. (2)As seismic waves propagate through the Moxi terrace,scattering generates waves in other frequency bands. (3)The eastern edge of the Moxi terrace exhibited multiple effects during this earthquake,including topographic amplification at slope breaks,medium amplification,and frequency-selective behavior of the accumulated material. This combination is referred to as the"ice-water terrace effect."Disaster prevention and mitigation planning in Moxi Town and similar settings should account for the potential hazards associated with this effect.
