王思敬与工程地质力学——第二届王思敬讲座暨第四届绍兴国际研讨会主题报告

    WANG SIJING & ENGINEERING GEOMECHANICS—KEYNOTE PRESENTATION OF THE 2ND WANG'S LECTURE AND 4TH SHAOXING INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR

    • 摘要: 本文基于第二届“王思敬讲座”主题报告《王思敬与工程地质力学》,系统梳理了王思敬先生在工程地质力学及中国工程地质学科发展进程中的卓越贡献及其核心学术思想。本文首先礼赞了王思敬所践行的科学家精神。随后回顾了由谷德振先生开创及引领的中国工程地质力学大发展历程。重点阐述了王思敬先生的工程地质力学理论与思想体系:一是从理论到技术方法、工程实践经验形成了中国工程地质学;二是倡导了环境工程地质学——从工程地质力学到人地关系;三是梳理了工程地质思想方法——从工程地质学的核心价值到大成综合理论。最后展示了在王思敬学术思想启迪与引领下,中国工程地质学近年来在复杂岩土体特性、工程环境相互作用与地质灾害风险科学、多学科融合与智能化方法,以及服务国家重大战略与学科未来发展等方面的创新与实践进展。王思敬先生的学术思想不仅为中国工程地质力学奠定了坚实基础,更为学科应对未来复杂挑战、服务国家重大需求和实现可持续发展提供了宝贵的理论指导和方法论遵循。

       

      Abstract: This paper, building upon the keynote presentation of the 2nd Wang's Lecture, provides a systematic overview of Wang Sijing's outstanding contributions and core academic concepts in the development of engineering geomechanics and engineering geology in China. The paper first pays tribute to the scientific spirit he embodied throughout his career. It then reviews the significant trajectory of engineering geomechanics in China, initiated and led by Gu Dezhen. The core of the paper elaborates on Wang Sijing's theoretical and conceptual framework, structured around three aspects: (1) the formation of engineering geology in China through the integration of theory, technical methods, and practical engineering experience; (2) his pioneering advocacy for environmental engineering geology, bridging traditional engineering geomechanics with human-earth relations; and (3) his systematic approach to engineering geological methodology, ranging from core values to the comprehensive theory of Meta-Synthesis. Finally, the paper introduces recent innovative and practical advancements in China's engineering geology, inspired and guided by Wang Sijing's academic legacy, particularly in areas such as complex rock and soil mass characteristics, engineering-environment interaction and geological hazard risk science, multidisciplinary integration and intelligent methods, and contributions to national major strategies and the future of the discipline. Wang Sijing's academic work not only laid a solid foundation for engineering geomechanics in China but also continues to offer invaluable theoretical guidance and methodological principles for the discipline to address future complex challenges, effectively serve national major needs, and pursue sustainable development.
