NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE CRACK EXTENSION PROCESS IN ROCK MASSES

Abstract: The numerical simulation method of crack extension process in rock masses is studied in the paper by using the fracture theory and the equivalent continuous model of joint rock.The computed examples given at the end of the paper show that the method is effective.
