Abstract: This paper analyzed and compared plenty of geotechnical investigation data of the west coast of Shenzhen. According to different appearing of the physical mechanics character and shear strength of the soft soil in different sediment environment, the area was divided into several engineering geologic areas for statistic, and combined former sea bank building and soft foundation treatment engineering experience, some proposal of disposing methods were put forward, to some extent, it has instructional significance for the foundation treatment of the sea reclamation in this district.
