  • Based on the on-site inspection of the scenic area of Changyu Dongtian in Wenling CityThe author made an assessment that the engineering geological conditions of Changyu Cavern are generally good. Based on these analysesthrough in-depth study of the ancient method of quarryingit is found that this method contains the ancient engineering science and technology bright spot which accords with the principle of rock mechanics. In additionthe basis of acoustic theory about underground music hall was discussed. All these constitute the scientific value of the large ancient underground caverns in the scenic area.
