With development of informatization in engineering investigation, it completes the digitization stage, and gradually advances to informatization and intellectualization, and gradually realize the function of assistance, support and promotion of engineering investigation work. Combined with the requirements of the 13th five-year project survey informatization development, the engineering investigation will focus on the Internet, Internet of things, big data, cloud computing and BIM technology, whose integrated development trend of whole system, entire process and all element is realized.
