    STUDY ON TRIAXIAL TEST OF SHEAR STRENGTH OF LOESS IN SOUTHERN JINGYANG COUNTY

    • 摘要: 以泾阳南塬第九层黄土(L9)为主要研究对象,通过常规三轴试验,探讨在不同含水量及不同围压状态下该层黄土剪切强度参数的变化规律。并对不同含水量状态下的边坡稳定性进行了分析,得出黄土含水量和边坡稳定性的关系。分析表明: ①低含水量(w=5.3% ~12.3%)时,L9黄土抗剪强度的降低主要与黏聚力的降低有关;②较高含水量(w=12.3% ~19.3%)时,L9黄土抗剪强度降低与黏聚力和内摩擦角均有重要关系;③高含水量(w=19.3% ~25%)时,L9黄土抗剪强度降低主要和内摩擦角的降低有关;④随着L9含水量的增加,边坡的稳定系数降低,L9含水量的多寡,对边坡的稳定性有着直接的影响。研究成果对于今后泾阳南塬地区黄土边坡(滑坡)工程治理、监测,尤其是塬边边坡安全的早期预测有重要的参考价值。

       

      Abstract: The 9th floor loess(L9)in Southern Jingyang County is the main object of the study. Triaxial tests are carried out in order to evaluate the shear strength properties of the loess through varying the confining pressure and water content. We get the relationship between water content and slope stability through analyzing the slope stability with different water content. The following conclusions can be reached: ①The decrease of shear strength of L9 loess is mainly controlled by the decrease of cohesion when water content is 5.3% to 12.3%. ②Both cohesion and internal friction angle have a great impact on the decrease of shear strength of L9 loess when water content is 12.3% to 19.3%. ③The decrease of shear strength of L9 loess is mainly controlled by the decrease of internal friction angle when water content is 19.3% to 25%. ④The amount of water content of L9 loess has a direct impact on the stability of the slope for the slope stability factor declines with water content increases. The results can be used in loess slope engineering management,monitoring,especially early prediction of slope safety in southern Jingyang county.
