    REVIEW ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL PROBLEMS IN WUHAN CITY

    • 摘要: 城市地质环境是影响城市安全、制约城市发展的重要因素,研究城市环境工程地质问题,对城市规划、国土资源管理、地质灾害防治、重大项目选址等均有重大意义。文章以丰富资料和大量观测数据为基础,阐明了武汉市地质构造、工程地质、水文地质等环境地质条件,论述了武汉市主要环境工程地质问题的性质、分布、规模,提出了相关的防治对策和措施。

       

      Abstract: The geological environment is a key factor which affects the safety and development of cities. So the research on city environment and engineering geological problems is instructive to city design, management of land resource, prevention of geo-hazards, and site solution of important projects. Based on a great deal of field data and monitoring data, the environmental and geological conditions in Wuhan City were discussed and analyzed such as geological structure, engineering geology, and hydraulic geology. Besides, the main environmental and engineering geological problems were summarized including their characteristic, distribution and scale, where some effective measures were suggested.
