    APPLICATION OF MONTE-CARLO SIMULATION TO THE STUDY OF SHEAR STRENGTH OF JOINTED ROCK MASS

    • 摘要: 首先介绍了蒙特卡罗模拟的理论基础,然后,以具体工程为例分析了利用该方法模拟节理岩体抗剪强度的具体方法和步骤。将模拟结果与利用其他方法获强度的可行性与可靠性。

       

      Abstract: In this paper, theoretical basis of Monte-Carlo simulation is introduced at first ,then the method and pxnce-dare of applying it to simulate the shear strength of jointed rock mass in a hydroelectric power station was analysed. The simulation results was checked against the shear strength parameters of other methods .The feasibility and reliability of using Monte Carlo simulation to obtain shear strength of jointed rock mass 'in a large area were also studied.
