Abstract: Anti-slide pile is the main measures to control the landslide along the highway of high standard in the mountain area in Guizhou Province. With the accumulation of application experience, many types of anti-slide piles such as single pile, pile plate wall, rank frame pile, stiff frame pile, anchor rope pile, anchor rope pile with stiff shelf and integrated pile etc. have been adopted in the controlling of the landslide along the highways of high standard till now. Adapted to the characteristics of highway and the mechanism, scales, physiognomy and geological features of landslide, the series of anti-slide piles with specialfeatures of highway has formed.
