    THE INFLUENCE OF DEPOSITIONAL CHEMISTRY ON GEOTECHNICAL PROPERTIES OF LIANYUNGANG MARINE CLAYS

    • 摘要: 通过试验研究连云港海相软土的沉积化学特征,分析了该海相软粘土沉积化学与基本土性间的关系。结果表明,连云港海相粘土为碱性氧化环境下形成的NaCl型含盐粘土,在不同深度处的基本土性受沉积化学影响而不同。Fe3+含量对OCR、灵敏度、K0有影响。

       

      Abstract: In this study, the depositional chemistry of Lianyungang marine clay is investigated by the laboratory tests, and the correlations of depositional chemistry and geotechnical properties are discussed. The results indicate that Lianyungang marine clay is NaCl saliferous clay deposited in alkalescent oxidation environment and the geotechnical properties are variety with depth owing to the influence of depositional chemistry. The OCR, sensitivity, and K0 were positive correlative with the logarithmic of Fe3+ concentration.
