Abstract: Urbanization is the greatest project during the process of our country's modernization, the Nobel economics prize winner J.Stiglitse juxtaposes the urbanization of China and the high technology of United States as two key factors that influence the development of mankind in 21 century. Harmonizing the relation between strong engineering activities of humankind and the geological environment varieties during the urbanization is the responsibility and obligation of our country's engineering geology workers, and is also a opportunity for engineering geology development.
