    ENGINEERING GEOLOGY FACTORS AROUND WEIZHOU ISLAND AND ITS NORTHEAST SEA AREA

    • 摘要: 涠洲岛及其东北部海域存在多种潜在的灾害地质因素,对海洋开发活动、海洋工程建设有着潜在的威胁和隐患。本文根据实测的资料以及历史资料对研究区域内海底表面及浅部地层工程地质地质类型如海底障碍物、珊瑚礁、基岩出露及浅埋、陡坡、砂土液化、沉溺河谷等做了分析,讨论了它们的分布规律及成因,为海洋资源开发及海洋工程建设提供了科学的依据,最大限度地避免或减少海洋地质灾害所引起的危害。

       

      Abstract: There are various kinds of engineering geology factors around Weizhou Island and its northeast sea area, which have latent threat and hidden trouble to the marine exploitation activities and engineering construction. Based on recent observation data and historical data, we analyse the engineering geological types such as benthal obstacles, coral reefs, bedrockcropping out、high dip slope、sand liquefaction、paleo channel on the surface of seabed and shallow stratum in the study area. Their distribution and cause of formation are discussed, thus scientific information could be provided to marine resource exploitation and project construction, therefore the harmfulness caused by the geological disaster could be reduced or avoided.
