    MODEL MATERIAL CHOOSING IN CENTRIFUGE MODELING OF EMBANKMENT REINFORCED WITH GEOGRID

    • 摘要: 离心模型试验的结果能否反应实际工程情况,决定于模型与原型的相似程度,所以设计模型时必须按一定的相似原则来选择模型材料。由于受结构物尺寸的限制,并不能保证模型和原型所有的参数都相似,故需抓住关键变量,确定最优模拟参数。通过理论分析,系统论述了软土地基上格栅加筋路堤离心模型试验中所涉及的土工格栅、塑料排水板、地基、路堤、砂垫层等模型材料的选择原则。

       

      Abstract: Whether the model test data can be extrapolated to the prototype scale and so give a sensible assessment of its behavior is based on the similarity between the model and corresponding prototype, so it is necessary to follow appropriate scaling laws in choosing model material. Because of the restriction on geometry, it is important to assess the relative effects of key parameters to replicate the essential features of the prototype. Model material including geogrid, plastic drain, foundation, embankment, sand cushion will be discussed in this paper in centrifuge modeling of embankment on soft clay reinforced with geogrid.
