    ENGINEERING GEOLOGY IN CHINA:REVIEWS AND PROJPECTS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW CENTURY

    • 摘要: 我国工程地质学经过 5 0年的工程实践和理论创新 ,已由条件工程地质学、问题工程地质学以及随着环境文明时代的到来向着环境和灾害工程地质学发展。近 10年来随着我国经济建设的快速发展 ,一批大型和特大型工程的兴建和城市化进程的加快 ,带来的地面变形、滑坡、环境恶化和全球悬河化等环境岩土工程问题 ,使工程地质地位和作用提高 ,学科在拓展。目前 ,我国已拥有一支能适应大规模经济建设需要并已走向世界的工程地质工作队伍 ,形成了具有我国自己特色的工程地质学科体系

       

      Abstract: A view of engineering geology is made in the paper. There are three stages of its development in past a half century and have two Engineering Geological centers (Beijing, Chengdu) and some academic engineering geological research groups (Nanjing etc.) were set up in China. The main achievements in engineering geology in the past 50 years, can be expressed in the following eight aspects:(1) Theory of rockmass structure engineering geomechanics;(2) Study on interaction between engineering activities geologic environment;(3) Stability evaluation of the Three-Gorges Project on Yangtze River;(4) Two types of environmental problems two suspended rivers, and theory of preferred plane;(5) Geo engineering geologic hazards control;(6) Nonlinear engineering geology;(7) Epigenetic time dependent structure;(8) Urban geo technology. Basic theory of engineering geologywas also in advance in the past over 50 years . Three basic theories: (1)Genetic Theory of rock-soil properties; (2)Structural theory of rock-soil stability and (3)The harmony between human the nature. Trend Prospect of Engineering Geology:The worlds population growth, industrialization and urbanization have led to focus the environmental civilization and environmental problems. The latter would threatne the sustainable social-economic sustainable development and even the existence of human being.Engineering geology market is very large for water resource,ecological environment and regional stability underground works in west China and for stability evaluation of large cities, problem of suspended river, and water resource water environment in east China. The development trend, 4 theoretical problems, and key technical problems are proposed and preliminarily analyzed in this paper. They are mainly the environment and geological hazards, the theoretical topic of engineering geology, the digitalization integration problems, and the Geo-engineering technical design treatment of the problems.
