Abstract: Based on the coupling mechanism of seepage field with displacement field, the effect of seepage on the displacement of high rock slope in a certain large boat gate project is studied in this paper. By use of finite element method, the seepage field and displacement field are calculated. The result shows that there is a significant effect of the seepage force on the stability of the rock slope. It indicates that a correct consideration of seepage force in analysis of high rock slope stability is very important.
