    昆明红粘土工程地质性质研究

    RESEARCH ON THE ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL PROPERTY OF THE RED CLAY IN KUNMING

    • 摘要: 昆明市位于云南省中北部,发育有较大面积的红粘土和次生红粘土。昆明市红粘土具有孔隙比大、密度低,粘粒含量、液限、塑限高,塑性指数较大的特性,而且由于红粘土具有明显的胀缩性,在地表经常形成裂隙,破坏了土体的整体性,降低了土体强度和抗渗性,这些都对工程有不利影响。因此本文在大量的物理力学试验资料的基础上,运用Mapgis软件绘制了昆明市红粘土的分布图,探讨了其分布特征、物理力学性质、胀缩性,并对其存在的土洞、裂隙问题作了研究。

       

      Abstract: The red clay and secondary red clay distributes widely in Kunming city which is in the mid-northern of Yunnan province, with the characteristics of large porosity ratio, low density, high content of clay particle, high plastic limit and liquid limit and larger plasticity index. Moreover, due to its apparent swell-shrink characteristics, the fissures are often formed on the ground surface so that the entirety of the soil body has been broken, as well as the strength and impermeability of the soil body have been degraded, which result in bad influences to the engineering. Therefore, in this paper, based on abundant data of the physical and mechanical experimentations, the distributed chart of the red clay in Kunming city has been drawn by Mapgis software, with the discussion of its distributed characteristic, physical and mechanical properties and swell-shrink characteristics, and then the problems of the fissures and cave in the red clay have been studied.
