STUDY ON METHOD OF EVALUATING BEARING CAPACITY OF COHESIVE SOIL BY USING PHYSICAL INDEX

After analyzing the data of the 742 groups cohesive soils in the Hulushan bay of Changxing island, Dalian, There are 4 empirical formulas built between the bearing capacity(fo) and the main physical indexes. Then the evaluation method of the characteristic value of the bearing capacity(fo) is proposed for actual investigation. It is significant for evaluating the bearing capacity(fak) through the physical indexes.
