    NUMERICAL SIMULATION ANALYSIS OF MIANYANG PINGYANG FUJUN GATEWAY UNDER EARTHQUAKE

    • Mianyang Pingyang Fujun gateway has been named as national key cultural relics protection units. It was most seriously damaged ever during the Wenchuan Earthquake. The parts of the gateway were destroyed. The rocks were twisted, dislocated, broken and caved in. The stability of the gateway was significantly affected. We use the Midas GTS software to establish body 3D model, input seismic time-history curve of Wenchuan. Finally, we compare the calculate results with the damage observed at the site. It shows that the numerical simulation results are in agreement with the actual observations. So, the numerical simulation results can reflect the true destruction of the towers.
