    INVESTIGATION ON POTENTIAL RISKS IDENTIFICATION TECHNIQUE ON ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL BANK SLOPE

    • Recent years, with the development of national economy, specially on hydropower project construction which brings many problems such as high slope, and disasters like debris flows. Therefore, people pay more attention to the investigation of potential risks on geological hazards. This article combines the typical engineering cases, classifies the engineering bank slopes and their mainly damage types, explains how to carry out disaster potential risks identification, the main measures of disaster reduction and disaster prevention are expounded. And discusses the key points of potential risks identification of the construction of hydropower project. It is a good reference and guidance for people to recognize and pay attention to the potential risks of slope.
