ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH ON FORMATION CONDITIONS OF IMPOUNDING RESERVOIR FOR RONGGE HYDROPOWER STATION ON MENGJIANG RIVER

    • The rock type is seriously various in the area of Rongge hydropower station, where the sedimentation environment and geological structure background are complicated. Karstification chips rock mass intensively around the reservoir and at the left bank of the reservoir, which results in a complicated net karst pipes under the ground. Also, there are some classic karst hydraulic phenomena in this area. For example, river recharges groundwater at the end of the reservoir; some large-scale underground rivers and fissures of the riverbed were found. To analyze conditions of the reservoir formation, large-scale tracer detector was employed to monitor frequently changes of tracer dose in water in a large scale day and night, where the tracer dose is a kind of fluorescein treated by anti-adsorption in advance. As for this detector, a precise spectral luminometer of fluorescein (F96C mode) is used to analyze the tracer dose. The detector is the first one that can obtain quantitative results for hydroelectric project. Also, the case study is a good reference for tracer detecting of the similar hydroelectric projects.
