THE FORWARD SIMULATION RESEARCH OF CAVITYS RADAR IMAGE INFLUENCE FACTORS IN MOUNTAIN TUNNEL

    • There are always some diseases, such as cavity, escapes spatial, crack, leak and so on,in todays mountain tunnel. Common disease detection methods have the problem of bringing about damage to the tunnel and hasnt a wide range of rapid detection. While, ground penetrating radar will be able to solve the above problems better, taking fast non-destructive detection. In order to improve detection efficiency and accurate interpretation of the image, the forward simulation is necessary. Based on finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)method,using the simulation software GprMax,the author take a forward simulation of the cavitys radar image in mountain tunnel, the simulation results and the actual comparison of model fit well, then compare some influence factors, and make some conclusions. It provides the basis for recognition and experience for complex ground penetrating radar images, lay the foundation for the establishment of a number of image recognition database.
