THE RESEARCH OF GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE CONTROL ACTION ON LANDSLIDES ON SOUTHERN GANSU SEGMENT OF G212

Southern Gansu segment of G212 is one of the most landslide-developed area in China. There are many influence factors on landslides, in which geological structure is the most important one. This paper deeply analyses the geological structure control action on landslides in this area, based on the investigations of area geological structure and the distribution rule of landslides, moreover analyses from many point of view like faults, folds, terrane occurrence, new tectonic movement, earthquake and so on.
