INTRODUCTION ON PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING GEOLOGIC INVESTIGATION OF THE MAIN CONSTRUCTION OF H-Z-M BRIDGE

Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge includes main construction and connect project.Based on complex geologic investigation of HZM Bridge and multiplex structures of the project,special technical requirement for site investigation and organization is given.And the termination depth of boreholes is double control,strata characters and design needs.According to the construction of Artificial Islands,two marine water pump tests are taken.The SI and geotechnical results show,although there exist soft soil,total weather granite rock,Liquefaction of sand,seismic settlement of the soft soil,shallow gas and other adverse geologic actions,the intact and hard granite rock could be well base or pile end bearing stratum,and the exploration results can satisfy the design need and support the design scheme.At last briefly looks back the preliminary engineering geologic investigation of HZM Bridge.
