APPLICATION OF REMOTE SENSING TECHNOLOGY TO DETECTION OF COAL FIRE IN NORTHERN CHINA

Based on the systematic researches and analysis of the geology and spontaneous combustion mechanism of the coal seam in the mining area, this paper, with Ruqigou Coal Mine in Ningxia autonomous region as an example, gives a discussion on the feasibility of building of the early warning and the monitor system for the coal fire by applying the remote sensing technology to accurate detection of the distribution of the fire area in the coal field.
