    • 1# ore body is a main one in Jinchuan mine and is also mining ore body of the second period mining for Mine No,2 Jinchuan mine. Because the embedding depth of the ore is larger, joints is more development and geological structural stress is higher the stability of surrounding rock masses of the deep stop is lower. As increase of the depth of mining depth and extending of mining area the activity of underground pressure of the stope is intensive, then the problems of stability of roadways and stope is more serious. So it is necessary for us to explore a reasonable measures and optimizing design parameters. The research of engineering geology is the above study. This paper gives the results of the conditions of the surrounding rock masses and quality evaluation based on investigation in site, analysis and researches. The results had been used into controlling underground pressure and support design of the roadways.
