    NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF GAS PIPELINE DEFORMATION DUE TO SURFACE LOAD

    • The destruction of gas pipeline under surface load has been increasingly serious; therefore the safety evaluation of the stability of the gas pipeline under surface load becomes more and more important.In the paper,three dimensional numerical model of pipeline subject to load has been established,the deformation and mechanical state have been studied,and the influencing factors of mechanical state of pipeline have been classified.Consequently,the study has a practical significance to prevent and to research the pipeline disaster under surface load.
