PREDICTION OF THE STABILITY OF XIATUDILING LANDSLIDE IN THREE-GORGES RESERVIOR AREA

    • Xiatudiling landslide is an active slope. The stability of the landslide will be affected seriously after the Three-Gorges reservoir runs. According to the investigation information, the landslide is a ancient bedrock slope. The paper carries out stability analysis by residual thrust model. The results show that the stability factor will reduce largely and the landslide will be active. It is essential to adopt preventing measures to control the landslide.
