    ANALYSIS ON THE ASSESSMENT INDEXES FOR SEISMIC RESISTANCE OF LOESS SITES

    • Seismic loess landslides, seismic subsidence and liquefaction are predominant seismic disasters in loess areas. Based on the seismic disasters characteristics of loess sites, this paper assesses seismic resistance of all the sorts of sites. Through analysis on the major indexes that affect seismic stability of slopes, loess subsidence resistance and liquefaction, the paper summarizes the assessment indexes for seismic resistance of loess sites, and provides the zoning of loess sites under different seismic intensities. This method is valuable for seismic loess disasters zoning, qualitative analysis and preliminary estimation of general construction sites.
