APPLICATION OF BINARY PILE COMPOSITE SUBGRADE ON A SAND-LIQUEFACTION TREATMENT

    • The ground soil situated at TongZhou County in Beijing does not meet the building requirement, which has a low bearing capacity and a middle liquefaction. For the mechanical properties of this soil, binary pile composite subgrade is used to reinforce the ground, where vibro-replacement stone column is used to improve liquefaction and rammed soil-cement piles to increase bearing capacity. Optimum design is adopted to ensure the construction. By detecting, the ground treated by this method reaches the requirement of structure design.
