    LOCALE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF NEW CHEMICAL SAND-FIXING MATERIAL ON TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY IN SAND DUNE

    • Selecting a sandlot as test spot in Mingsha Mountain at MogaoGrottoes in Dunhuang, and carring out artificial rainfall experiments, the effect of new chemical sand-fixing material with different compositions on temperature and humidity in sand dune is studied. The results show that the material can improve the conditions of temperature and humidity in sand dune, which is important in systemic sand-fixing engineering.
