    STUDY ON METHOD OF IN-SITU LOAD TEST FOR THE PILE END BEARING OF EXCAVATED BELLED PILES

    • By comparison, the advantage and disadvantage of various pile end test methods are discussed such as restricted loading, adit-loading, beam loading, internal loading, anchor-pulled loading, preloading and so on. According to the characteristic of the instructional and laboratory building's excavated belled piles in some university, Wuhan City, adit-restricted in-situ load test is designed to obtain the pile end bearing of excavated belled piles. The steps of this test include equipment and its fix, selecting the maximum load, loading, unloading and so on. In this paper, the 6 groups of test data are analyzed comprehensively. The results indicate that the proposed test method is portable, effective and feasible.
