A CASE OF REINFORCEMENT ENGINEERING FOR CITY SLOPE IN A LOESS AREA

Typical loess slope is studied in this paper. Firstly, the characteristic of loess slope is introduced; the environmental geological conditions and mechanism for the formation of the slope are given. Then the paper discusses influence factors for slope failure, calculating methods for slope stability evaluating, and reinforcement measures in loess area. The study result is instructive to stability evaluating large-scale slope in loess area.
