THE CHARACTERISTIC OF THE EARILY PALEOZOIC ERATHEM KARST IN NORTHWEST OF GUANGZHOU AND TO THE INFLUENCE OF ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENTS

In northwest of Guangzhou, Karst is extensive growth in four sets of geologic stratas of the earily Paleozoic Erathem,such as P1w、P1q、C2+3ht and C1ds. The type of Karst,the scale of Karst and the form of Karst in lock is primarily with the character of rock, lock thick, geologic structure position and groundwater movable etc. The distribute of karst is difference because of the different of geologic strata.Therefore, in this paper,the authors proceeded the evaluation to the feat of engineering developments and the choice of foundation type, and hope that the suggestion could be propitious to the engineering developments and geotechnical investigating.
