FIELD SURVEY ON GROUND FRACTURES IN XI'AN CITY

Regulations of field survey on ground fractures and engineering design in Xi'an City (DBJ61-6-2006) is a technical rule for field investigation and design in ground facture area in Xi'an. According to the regulation, ground fractures are defined accurately, and the distribution of the fractures is summarized in Xi'an City. The regulation also gives the requirements and methods applied in field survey of fractures, and set the minimum distance between different buildings and protected requirement of life engineering. This paper gives a good explanation for the regulation.
