STUDY ON GEOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT SHOULD BE EMPHASIZED -AN INSPIRE FROM STRONG BLOWOUT IN PINGYUAN WHEN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED IN INDONESIA

A strong blowout was found at site of earthquake monitoring in Pingyuan, Guangdong, when the earthquake event of ML 8.9 occurred in Indonesia. Squeezed by Pacific plate and the plate of Indian and Australia, the geological environment is really complicated in Guangdong. Engineering accidents often appear because neo-tectonic faults are attached little importance. Therefore, the study on geological environment should be emphasized to ensure project to be safe.
