    GROUTING TREATMENT AND EFFECT DETECTION ON DAM BASE OF THE UNSAFE WUSHISHUI RESERVOIR

    • The injection reservoir, which is named Wushishui, was determined unsafe because of heavy leakage. It has being played important role of irrigation and flood control. So, it is necessary to improve and strengthen the dam base of this reservoir. Based on the regional engineering geological situations, the methods of consolidation and grouting are taken properly for project design and construction. Different skills for drilling and grouting were chosen to adapt different rocks that have different leakage features. The methods and skills taken make construct efficiently and economically. After the construction, the pressurized-water test, accompanied by observation of swampy land and spring located at back of dam, ware selected to check out effect of consolidation and grouting of dam base. The all results above indicate the leakage decreased remarkably and consolidation objective was realized effectively.
