    GEOLOGICAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TUNNEL ANCHOR OF BALING RIVER BRIDGE AND GUANLING NO.1 TUNNEL

    • By analyzing investigation and design data of tunnel anchor of Baling river bridge and Guanling No.1 tunnel, we applied the procedure of geophysical exploration combined with field investigation to obtain accurately the engineering geological conditions of the tunnel, where geophysical exploration included HSP acoustic reflection, high-density electrical survey, and electromagnetic reflection. According to the data from field investigation and geophysical exploration, surrounding rock classification was given, and main engineering geological problems were observed, some suggestions were proposed. So far, this procedure has been used to forecast geological conditions for tunnel excavation.
