    • The formulation of GIS technique is technology of the computer and common result of information-based development, manage and study the technological system of the space data, can obtain and meet information which uses the need rapidly, result that can be dealt with in the forms of the map, figure or data. This paper introduces the application actuality of GIS technique, establishes the necessary of geological hazard information system and system structure of GIS technique application which in geological hazard information system, and first discusses the foundation of geological hazard database and model, all of this have very important function for predominate quietly the distribution of natural hazard. In a certainly range, forecast and predict the possible natural hazard of engineering, defend and treat with the geological hazard and finally ensure the society's safety. The understand and abstract process that from external world to information world, and the development and transform of reconstruct process's utilizes that from information world return external world, and creat favorable condition and environment.
