ENGINEERING GEOENVIRONMENT OF LIYUETAN IN NANSHA ISLANDS

According to the information of the geophysical profiles, the paper analyses the basic characteristics and distribution regularity of engineering geoenvironmental factors of Liyuetan in Nansha Islands, the Southern South China Sea. The engineering geoenvironment study is a new research field of modern engineering geology. The paper introduces the concept of engineering geoenvironment including endogenic hazardous geological types (active faults,seismic activities and volcanic action) and exogenic hazardous geological types (dilapidation, landslip, buried sea-bed reef, Sea-bed mud hillock).
