STUDY ON KEY TECHNOLOGIES OF FUNDAMENTAL GEO-SPATIAL DATABASE ESTABLISHMENT

The Fundamental Geo-Spatial Database is one of the most important composition of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure(NSDI ).Based on the needing of the development of geospatial database,the author puts for-ward several key technologies to build geospatial databases,including spatial reference system Data updating and historical data management,metadata and data dictionary,layering of Geo-Spatial data infomation,quality control of spatial data,WebGIS technology and database security. Every technology is analyzed in this paper.
