    APPLICATION OF WATER LEVEL REDUCTION METHOD IN GROUNDWATER RESOURCES EVALUATION

    • Based on hydrogeological principle,the water level reduction method was adopted combined with water balance calculation to evaluate the groundwater resources in Qitai town,Shangdu county.Conditions of groundwater recharge,runoff and drainage were found out basically.The thickness and distribution area,water abundance and groundwater quality and variation of the phreatic aquifer of Tertiary(Pliocene)and Quaternary were ascertained.Distribution,water abundance character and water rich section of aquifer in Eocene of Tertiary were also determined.And the result of evaluation shows that the design production volume 367.99?104m3 穉-1 of this watershed can be guaranteed,which can provide reference to exploitation and utility of water resource in Qitai town,Shangdu county.
