    ENGINEERING EVALUATION ON BEARING CAPACITY AND DEFORMATION MODULUS OF GRANITE RESIDUAL SOIL

    • This paper studied the outcropped and engineering properties of granite residual soil in Haicang region of Xiamen province through cone penetration test and standard penetration test methods.The concept of "horizon depth" was put forward and it was concluded that the horizon depth and the in-situ test data had a linear dependence relation.The cone penetration test was employed to study the bearing capacity characteristic value and deformation modulus of granite residual soil,and relationship between the specific penetration resistance and the deformation modulus was defined,they are also with a linear dependence relation.The results of pilot calculation and in-situ test are anastomotic basically,which proved that granite residual soil has obvious characters in vertical direction.
