    APPLICATION OF WEIGHTED INFORMATION VALUE MODEL TO LANDSLIDE SUSCEPTIBILITY ASSESSMENTA CASE STUDY OF ENSHI CITY,HUBEI PROVINCE

    • Information value model is a widely used landslide susceptibility assessment method. However, it neglects the weights of different factors. This paper proposes the weighted information value model based on AHP.The impact of terrain, fault, river and lithology types on landslide in Enshi City is assessed with GIS spatial analysis. According to the weighted information value of these controlling factors, the study area can be divided into high, intermediate, low and very low susceptible areas for landslide occurrence.
