    LABORATORY TEST FOR SHEAR CREEP CHARACTERISTIC OF ROCK MASS DISCONTINUITY

    • The creep characteristic of rock mass discontinuity has important practical significance for the analysis of rheological properties of the rock engineering. Based on the shear creep test of dentate discontinuity on the condition of shear stress, this paper studies the creep characteristics of discontinuities with different slope ratios and normal stresses. According to the creep test results, the shear creep empirical formula of discontinuity is obtained, and the long-term strength characteristics of discontinuities are studied. In this paper, Burgers model is selected to describe the shear creep deformation characteristics of discontinuities. The paper gives a discussion of the Burgers model for describing the shear creep characteristics of structural parameters of discontinuities.
