Abstract
This paper mainly introduces the application of the Controlled Source Audio Frequency Magnetotelluric Sounding(CSAMT) in bauxite investigation and evaluation project of Henan Xinanshi Temple and Beiye region. It used the V8 multifunctional electrical workstation. The CSAMT method have the characteristics such as strong anti-interference ability, greater probing depth and mature means of data interpretation. It plays a critical role in the project of bauxite survey and evaluation. It clearly reflects the bauxite ore target layer in the investigation area, the Ordovician weathering crust morphology variation along the strike and stratigraphic occurrence. Provide the deep electrical information for stratigraphic division and subsequent bauxite survey and evaluation work, and provide the basis for drilling design and prediction of mineral resources.
