    • This paper is to realize the disintegration characteristics of argillaceous shale in acid and alkali environment separately. It carries out the static disintegration test and slake disintegration test of argillaceous shale. The influence rule between pH value and disintegration of argillaceous shale are obtained. It shows that the pH value plays an important role in the disintegration of argillaceous shale. The smaller the pH value, the stronger the disintegration. As the grain diameter increases, the slake disintegration index of argillaceous shale can increase. Moreover, the smaller the pH value, the less the slake disintegration index. The acid environment plays a more important role than the alkaline environment.
